Oracle Boosts Investment in Kenya with Partner Hub

Oracle, in collaboration with Redington, a leading Value added distributor operating across East, West, French West Africa and Middle East recently launched a Partner Hub in Nairobi to help Oracle partners in Kenya enhance their cloud expertise and help them implement transformative cloud projects across Oracle’s customer base. Located at the Oracle office in Westlands, Nairobi, the Partner Hub can be accessed by all Oracle partners in the region, interested in furthering their understanding and ability to implement cloud-led solutions and services.

“This new partner hub will act as a catalyst and a valuable asset for the Oracle partner community; providing a variety of enablement, engagement and development resources in Kenya.  In addition to delivering technical training workshops aimed at developing partner skills to support the digital transformation strategy of customers in the region; the hub will also rollout a Digital & Cloud accelerator program to help partners align and transform their business model in the era of cloud” says Ramkumar Balakrishnan, President, Redington Value.

“Cloud adoption in the East Africa region is on the rise and in order to help our customers achieve maximum value and unprecedented growth, it is important for us to invest in empowering our partners with the right skills”, said Corine Mbiaketcha, Managing Director Oracle Kenya. “The hub will allow partners to focus on continuous skills development and education of their employees, empowering the Kenyan IT ecosystem to grow, while better servicing customers who are embarking on their cloud journey.”

“The Partner Hub will bring together Oracle’s best practices, deep insights into cloud strategy and Redington’s experience in building a strong partner channel network that can provide Oracle solutions and service offerings, plus assist them in taking these skill sets to the market through innovative digital marketing, events, trainings and workshops, that will deliver excellent support for partners in the region”, Ramkumar added.

In one of its initial workshops, the new Partner Hub will conduct a host of sessions across Internet of Things (IoT); Management Cloud; Cloud Analytics & Big Data; DevOps besides also organising a digital hackathon.
