The 2019 CBA Africa Concours d’Elegance at the Nairobi Racecourse on September 29th has been given the theme of “The Afromotive Edition”. This will celebrate classic and vintage cars and motorcycles and the history of Kenya’s classiest event since the launch by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club in 1970.
The theme invites spectators and competitors to wear outfits which illustrate the gleaming Concours machines linked with the Kenya story.
Bold African prints will brighten the Nairobi Racecourse and add to the colour and style of this major motoring and social day.
The centerpiece of the event will be the assessment of 70 highly prepared cars and 40 motorcycles which will be checked at the Racecourse by highly experienced officials. In addition, there will be a classic car and motorcycle sale, 28 motor trade stands and the Heritage Collection of old equipment and machinery.
Regulations for the Concours, Auto Expo (the motor trade section) and the classic sale are available from the event website www.concourskenya.com and from Bob Dewar Publicity offices at Block G, Norfolk Towers, Kijabe Street.
