Indigenous hotel chain PrideInn Hotel Group has reported a surge in demand for hybrid conferences barely two months after piloting and launching the real and virtual conference innovation dabbed “RevMeet”. The innovation owned and operated by PrideInn Hotel Group has attracted over 100 conferences and events that have been held and some looking to be held before the year ends.
This solution enables participants attend any one meeting or event in real time (in-person) or virtually across various locations seamlessly and securely using high end technology therefore saving time and budgets whilst keeping to strict covid 19 health guidelines.
“Revmeet is a new edge conferencing and events solution that combines multi-hub, multi-platform, in-person and virtual conference participation. Such Innovative conference and event platform is what we need to keep Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) business going, despite the current COVID -19 travel and gathering restrictions. Over the past two months, we have seen that the market really needed an easy-to-use meetings and events solution, which we gave to our clients,” said Hasnain Noorani, Founder and MD for PrideInn Group
“Virtual events are the new normal and, even as the world starts to re-open, we believe it is forever changed. Institutions and organizations need to be remote-ready to connect their audiences, wherever they are, and we are excited to help them create true collaboration with our new platform Revmeet,” added Mr. Hasnain
The pandemic has exposed gaps in existing hotels technology and for many, it’s time to sink or swim.
Meetings and conference business has been rocked during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the MICE industry may continue to feel the effects for years to come. While online alternatives like Zoom will put a dent into the conference business, the hospitality industry needs to stay focused on recovery even if the path forward presents unusual challenges
As we reach nine months into the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of hospitality has remained the same, first to get hit and the last to recover.
“As we continue to adapt to “new normal” and ongoing travel limitations brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, meeting, conference and event organizers can now choose to offer virtual participation through RevMeet. We have had weddings and gala dinners held via this platform,” said Victor Shitakha, PrideInn Mombasa Regional Manager
PrideInn Hotel Group’s RevMeet Solution is currently available across all hotels in Nairobi and Mombasa, to better meet the rapid lifestyle changes of today’s hospitality clients and their evolving expectations when they stay, work, and meet in our hotels. The roll-out will continue through 2020 and beyond.
Over the past few months, PrideInn has proved it can conduct successful conferences, meetings and events while navigating coronavirus safety guidelines.
