Large and small scale farmers will be attending the inaugural Farm-Tech Expo for Kenya which has been scheduled September 12th and 13th at the KALRO Dairy Institute in Naivasha. This will be held by the organisers of similar events which have taken place in Zambia for the past five years and have made a keycontribution to the evolution of farming in that country.
Farm-Tech will give visitors the opportunity to compare and test products and services in live practical demonstrations and learn about the offerings of 80 global solution providers. The Expo will feature an impressive range of zones including live crop trials, machinerydemonstrations, irrigation, livestock and horticulture.
One of the leading exhibitors in the machinery zone will be FMD the MasseyFerguson tractor and implement distributor for East Africa. The Company will be displaying and demonstrating spraying and planting equipment to help farmers to appreciate the ways and means of boosting their crop yields.
Throughout the two days of the event visitors will be able to attend dedicated training initiatives covering a variety of agriculture and livestock farming and related services including irrigation, agro processing and horticulture. It is anticipated that the show will result in worthwhile business to business relations resulting from face to face meetings between suppliers and users.
