Thousands of spares are on offer at very special prices in DT Dobie’s annual stock clearance sale. This is a bargain opportunity which will continue until all the parts have been purchased by motorists, wholesalers and fleet owners. The sale includes items for Mercedes, Volkswagen passenger cars, Jeeps and Nissan cars and pick-ups and Actros and Hyundai trucks.
Beth Ngugi, the DT Dobie Parts Manager, explained, “There are price reductions of up to 80 per cent and we are also giving 20 per cent discount on service kits for some Volkswagen Tiguan and Touareg models.”
Describing the magnitude of the price reductions, she said, “For example a headliner for Mercedes Actros has been discounted from 107,395 shillings to 22,973 shillings. A bearing now costs 7,559 shillings down from 35,525 shillings while a release lever is 11,412 shillings compared to the usual price of 53,637 shillings.”
“Bargains for Mercedes passenger car owners include a safety belt for a Mercedes E- Class saloon at 25,380 shillings which normally costs 119,285 shillings. The price for a front windscreen for a Mercedes S class is down to 30,446 from 118,739 while a rear bumper for a Mercedes E200 has been discounted to 20,952 shillings from 98,476 shillings.”
Jeep, Nissan, Hyundai trucks and Wingle owners have not been left out with over 1,000 parts among the specially priced spares. The cooler condenser for a Jeep Sahara has been slashed from 75,255 shillings to 16,012 shillings while a body side front for a Nissan Hardbody pick-up which normally retails for 55,237 can be bought for only 11,753 shillings.
