
Car and General (Kenya) PLC signed an agreement with St John Ambulance to promote road safety and post-crash care by training boda boda riders with safety skills and donating first aid equipment.
Raphael Atanda, Car and General Head of Communication explained, “The use of motorcycles as a mode of transport is very popular on Kenya roads as they are a fast and low cost means of moving from place to place especially when they are traffic jams”.
“As St. John Ambulance has extensive capabilities and experience of first aid and of emergency medical care we are helping them to develop road safety awareness by offering free first aid training for boda boda riders. As the distributor of TVS motorcycles the safety of our customers is key”, concluded Raphael.
